info
This is Andrés Arregui Velázquez. While finishing my PhD in Chemical Physics founded Arregui Velázquez The venture began from a desire to move beyond the constraints of commercial bicyclesand create truly custom bikes.
For over 17 years dedicated to designing and manufacturing bicycles, we have brought hundreds of projects to life for all kinds of cyclists around the world.
This hands-on experience has always been supported by ongoing research, which refines our production process and enriches our teaching methods. I have been teaching Product Design at several universities for the past 10 years, integrating my foundational science background (Chemistry-Physics) with Industrial Design. In this way, these four pillars design, manufacturing, research, and teaching work together to enhance the outcome ofeverything we do.
I ride three bikes, a commuting light and fast track bike, a big tired gravel-ish bike and a mixture of Cargo, Bmx and Gravel Bike, CBGB´S, that allows me to go to work, carry my youngest son to school or my skate to my favourite DIY skate spot.
I recently started playing the Bass Clarinet but I have been playing soprano and tenor sax in the context of free improvised music for almost 30 years.
