RESEARCH AND TEACHING
Design, manufacturing, research, and teaching. At Arregui Velázquez, these fourareas integrate and complement each other organically, incorporating the results and advancements from each field with the goal of continually expanding knowledge and expertise in bicycle design and construction.
The ETB Academy is the educational division of Arregui Velázquez and also an official member of the international research group IBERG (International Bicycle Engineering Research Group). This collaborative network of engineers and researchers from various universities worldwide is primarily dedicated to disseminating advancements in the fields of engineering and technologies applied to the bicycle.
In the absence of institutions that approach teaching this field with the same rigor as an engineering degree or a professional trade, the Bicycle Technical School (ETB) aims to establish a fundamental body of knowledge, techniques, and procedures that can be taught in a structured and effective manner to students for later application in workshop practice.
Finally, the ETB is also a center for study and research that collaborates with various universities and institutions (both national and international) to acquire deeper knowledge on diverse technical aspects of bicycle construction and design.
